The Witness explores the quiet act of observing our emotions without judgment. I wanted to express the moment when we stop identifying with our thoughts and feelings and simply become aware of them. In this state of witnessing, emotions are free to arise, transform, and gently pass away. This painting is part of my ongoing Train Series, in which the journey becomes a metaphor for inner transformation. Rather than depicting a physical destination, my work explores the landscapes of memory, identity, and consciousness.
